Philanthropy
Our primary philanthropy lies in supporting Nationwide Children's Hospital, mainly through fundraising efforts. We have several philanthropy events throughout the year, and many of our sisters participate in their own personal volunteering that we try to support as an organization however we can! Below are some events we traditionally hold, as well as events we started last year!
Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Summer Camp
For the past few years, several of our sisters have attended MDA Summer Camp to work with kids who have a range of neuromuscular conditions and help provide them with a traditional summer camp experience!
Taylor Swift Night
Last spring, we hosted a Taylor Swift themed rental at Leo's on the Alley - ticket fees were donated to NCH, and we raised almost $2000 while getting to celebrate Taylor Swift's discography and have fun as a chapter!
DOK x Buckeyethon
DOK happily supports Buckeyethon as another means of fighting pediatric cancer. The DOK Buckeyethon team is led by a few of our sisters and supported by the entire chapter!
DOK n' Donuts
This fundraiser is typically held on the Oval in the spring to raise money to donate towards NCH!
Ronald McDonald House
A few sisters volunteered at RMH last year to help clean and organize the rooms for incoming families!
Dogs & Dawgs
Last year, we partnered with Alpha Sigma to host a fun event to raise money for BuckeyePaws, a local therapy dog program!
